JMEC WIRED Night @ DevilCraft, Hamamatsucho
The JMEC alumni association will hold its social, called WIRED Night, this time at the famous Chicago Pizza and Craft Beer restaurant "Devil Craft" in Hamamatsu-cho, Tokyo. WIRED Night is a popular event held at various venues around Tokyo. It brings people together for a relaxed social evening with a brief but stimulating talk by a special guest. The event is open to JMEC alumni, JMEC supporters and anyone who wants to be a part of the young, energetic business community.
The guest speaker this time is Tish Robinson. She will talk about "Stories and 36 Questions to Connect Us."
Tish is a JMEC alumna with stellar career. She teaches Managerial Coaching and Mediation and Global Virtual Teams at Hitotsubashi University ICS, having received her MBA and PhD from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, her B.A. from Pomona College, and an MACF from the Process Work Institute. She has taught at New York University, Harvard University, and as a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley. She serves as a Commissioner on the Fulbright Japan-U.S. Educational Commission, and has served as an outside board director to Eisai Pharmaceuticals and as a governor on the American Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors. Her awards include: three Fulbrights, a Japan Foundation Fellowship, and a Shintaro Abe Fellowship. So mark your calendar and sign up right now!
